Timothée Humbert

Timothée’s fascinating creatures come from Provence. Harmless yet intriguing, this naïve and humorous carnaval of monsters recalls pre-Columbian deities or African fetishes, combined with underground culture, science-fiction movies and even Japanese influences. Tinies or monumentals, these bizarre characters and totems result from limitless experimentation, wich successfully manipulates our perception of the fabric : the ceramic adopts a texture similar to papier mâché. Energetic and spontaneous, Timothée’s creative process gives birth to unique and captivating pieces.
