Signée, Céramique émaillée, Pièce unique

Mel Arsenault
Mel Arsenault holds a master's degree in sculpture and ceramics from Concordia University (Montreal), where she also earned a bachelor's degree in painting and drawing. Her work has been shown in numerous group exhibitions and fairs in Canada, England and the United States. Recent solo exhibitions include Mélanger les Histoires at La Guilde (2020), Le jardin des astrocytes (2021), and Baumes fractals (2025) at Galerie Nicolas Robert.

Mel Arsenault participated in a residency at the Guldagergaard International Research Center in Denmark and received the Outstanding Work and Meaningful Contribution to Ceramics award from Concordia University. In the spring of 2025, the Daguet-Bresson gallery presented his work for the first time and met with great success.

Blending science, nature, and poetry, Mel Arsenault's works give rise to vivid settings with enigmatic forms, rich in colorful adventures and dreams. Through her works, she invites us to feel the power and strength of matter, its metamorphoses. A language of beauty, an impressionistic taste where frost, nymphs, flowers, tablecloths, and petals appear, spring forth, and cover her ceramic pieces. The tone could be imposing in the manner of the great symbolists, but it is light, playful, and shimmering! Translated with DeepL.com (free version)
