About the event

Bouchra Boudoua is a graduate of Central Saint Martins College of Art and Design, where she earned a Bachelor’s degree in Spatial Design. Both an artist and a designer, she now divides her time between Marrakech and Casablanca. From her studio in Marrakech, she collaborates with local potters to create pieces that are both functional and decorative.
Driven by a desire to preserve ancestral Moroccan craftsmanship, Bouchra reinterprets traditional pottery to design objects that draw from the past while fully embracing contemporary interiors. Her work is inspired by the graphic motifs that surround her daily life in Morocco as well as by her travels across the country.
Her artistic practice is also a personal journey, an inner exploration aimed at reconnecting with her roots and ancestral heritage. Always balancing between craft and design, her creations reflect the simple and sincere aesthetic characteristic of southern Morocco.
