BiographyFlorian Daguet-Bresson
Florian Daguet-Bresson began his career in the art market at a very young age with the Didier Luttenbacher gallery, which specialised in 19th and 20th century objets d'art.
Through his eye, his sensitivity, his knowledge and his participation in numerous events and international fairs (PAD LONDON, PAD PARIS, Biennale des Antiquaires, Masterpiece, etc.), he has developed an important network and become one of the young players in the art market. His eye, enthusiasm and exacting standards have earned him the respect of major collectors and institutions. He works with companies, collectors and numerous artists to develop their projects.
In 2020, the NMNM entrusted him with the production of a landmark exhibition. Alongside Cristiano Raimondi, he took part in the production of the exhibition Artifice Instable. In 2021, he co-founded the 'Ceramics Now' event, which in two editions attracted the attention of contemporary ceramics enthusiasts and collectors around the world, bringing in its wake a generation of innovative artists including French artists Claire Lindner and Timothée Humbert, South Korean artist Jongjin Park and Americans Alex Zablocki, Anthony Sonnenberg and Andrew Casto. It now represents some twenty international ceramic artists.
Il écrit aussi régulièrement, L’escaliers des 4 Potiers ou encore Hope Spot, ouvrage monographique de l’artiste Tamara Van San. En janvier 2022, il rejoint l’équipe du prestigieux magazine The World of Interiors comme contributing editor. En 2023, Il participe sous son nom au PAD Paris, PAD Londres, le succès est au rendez-vous. Il participe par ailleurs à plusieurs jurys de sélection (La Cambre, Biennale de Carouge, Greek contemporary Ceramics Biennale etc.)
At the same time, he co-founded 2dgalleries.com, an international marketplace dedicated to original comics.
